Things get a little flipped around when you factor in aircraft carriers and subs, but the point is every ship class should be equally viable in a game format. A battleship will always beat a cruiser, and a cruiser will always beat a destroyer. In fact speed often ends up being the more powerfull build especially in video games. It makes sense though, most other forms of combat the speedy guy can go toe-to-toe with the big brute. The problem is the subject is just so rarely gamified. World War 2 level warships blasting away at each other from miles away with the biggest cannons man ever devised.
